Mountain Bike Skills Instructor Course
B1KE’s Mountain Bike Skills Instructor programme (MTBSI) is the accreditation that underpins the mountain bike skills interaction on offer across, not only our own network of parks and locations, but at MTB destinations across the UK and certain venues in Europe.
Adopted by the teams at Bikepark Wale, One Planet Adventure at Llandegla, and in forests from Afan to Epping, B1KE’s accreditation is born out of a combined experience of over 40 years of coaching as full-time professionals.
The three day programme will unlock a lifetime of potential and revolutionise the way you approach coaching. Adopting a ‘Why to’ as well as ‘How To’ approach allows riders to develop a deeper understanding of their riding and how to optimise it.
Understanding the Physical, Psychological and Personal skill sets that make up the DNA of riding will equip you as an instructor, as well as your clients as attendees, to make rapid and sustainable progress.
The ‘Pedagogic’ approach to skills development has long been utilised in other action sports and B1KE have bought it to MTB with great affect. Underpinned by a robust and holistic sports methodology, B1KE’s MTBSI Programme has a proven track record and is the choice of coaches & instructors at some of the UK’s most recognised MTB centres
